Spiced Mulled Wine
METHOD:
Pour the port wine into a saucepan. Add the spices and simmer, covered, on low for 45 minutes. Strain the mulled wine into a heat-proof pitcher or bowl. Serve warm with a splash of vodka or brandy.
If using regular red wine instead of port, add ¼ cup sugar or honey to the wine while simmering.
