May Wine
METHOD:
In a large glass jar, add wine and sweet woodruff. Let sit overnight.
To serve, remove the woodruff sprigs. Mix wine with sparkling wine or water and pour very slowly. Add chopped strawberries to the glasses, then pour the wine over the strawberries. Garnish with sweet woodruff leaves, violets, or other edible flowers.
*to use dried sweet woodruff, use 1/2 cup dried herb and infuse for 1 hour instead of overnight.
