Infused Vodkas

Picture
WHAT YOU NEED:
ROSE VODKA:

1 bottle vodka (high quality is better)
Large pile of fragrant rose petals
Dash of dried hibiscus or a few fresh hibiscus petals (optional; add a red color)

METHOD:
Remove petals from the bud, removing the white part as well. Rinse to remove any dirt or bugs.
Place them in a quart-size jar. Pack the jar full. I like to add a dash of dried hibiscus as well to create a true rose color. Pour vodka over rose petals. Fill the jar to cover completely. Press petals down into vodka if needed.
Let sit for at least a week; two or three weeks is better if time allows.
