Harvest Meal Stuffing

Picture
WHAT YOU NEED:
1 loaf French bread
2 onions
6 stalks celery
1 cup cranberries
½ bunch parsley
2 apples
1 cup broth
2 eggs
½ cup butter
2-4 Tbsp poultry seasoning
splash of apple cider vinegar
salt to taste
METHOD:
Preheat oven to 325° F (165° C). Grease a baking dish generously with butter. Sauté onion and celery in the butter until softened. Dice the bread. Peel and dice the apples. Combine onion mixture with bread, apples, cranberries, parsley, salt, and poultry seasoning in a large mixing bowl. Stir in broth and apple cider vinegar until evenly moistened. At this point, before adding the eggs, taste and adjust the seasonings. Add the beaten eggs and stir until well blended. Transfer the stuffing mixture to the prepared baking dish, packing loosely. Cover the baking dish tightly with foil. Bake for about 40 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, until browned.
