Harvest Meal Stuffing
What you need: 1 loaf sourdough or French bread 2 onions 6 stalks celery 1 cup cranberries ½ bunch parsley 2 apples 1 cup broth 2 eggs ½ cup butter 2-4 Tbsp Autumn Harvest Blend splash of apple cider vinegar salt to taste |
Method:
Pre-heat oven to 325° F (165° C). Grease a baking dish generously with butter. Sauté onion and celery in the butter until softened. Dice the bread. Peel and dice the apples. Combine onion mixture with bread, apples, cranberries, parsley, salt, and Autumn Harvest Blend in a large mixing bowl. Stir in broth and apple cider vinegar until evenly moistened. At this point, before adding the eggs, taste and adjust the seasonings. Add the beaten eggs and stir until well blended. Transfer the stuffing mixture to the prepared baking dish, packing loosely. Cover the baking dish tightly with foil. Bake for about 40 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, until browned.
