Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Bake

WHAT YOU NEED:
3 cups old-fashioned oats
2 cups diced apple
1/2 cup walnuts
​1/2 cup Raisins
1 1/2 cup milk
1 stick butter softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
2-3 tsp pumpkin spice or cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt​
METHOD:
DAY BEFORE:

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Stir in milk, oats, pumpkin spice, baking powder and salt. Mix well. 
​Add apples and nuts, blend gently. 
Pour into a greased 8 inch square baking dish. Cover and place in the refrigerator overnight.

FOLLOWING MORNING:
Preheat oven to 350° F. 
Uncover pan and bake until firm, about 45 minutes. 
Serve warm for breakfast with milk or yogurt, or let cool and cut into squares for breakfast on the go. ​​
