What you need:
1 pound ground beef 2 Tbsp Tomato Paste 1/4 cup water 2-3 Tbsp Homestyle Taco Mix salt to taste |
Method:
In a large skillet, heat 1 Tbsp oil. Add meat and sauté until the meat has mostly browned and any water has cooked away.
Add tomato past, half the Homestyle Taco Mix, and a little water, then add more water as needed.
Cook on low, stir frequently, until any water added has evaporated.
Once meat has thickened adjust spice level to taste.
Add salt to taste as a final step. Keep in mind that both taco spice and salt will expand in flavor as they cook, so do not add it all up front.
Serve in taco shell or tortilla with shredded cheese, shredded greens, Pico de Gallo or diced tomatoes, guacamole or sliced avocado, lime juice, and sour cream.
