Homemade Mac & Cheese
What you need: 1 (8 ounce) packages macaroni 4 Tbsp butter 4 Tbsp flour 2 cup milk 3 cups cheese, half Havarti, half, orange cheddar 1 tsp Hint of Spicy Paprika Blend Salt and pepper to taste |
Method:
Cook and drain macaroni according to package directions.
Meanwhile, In a large saucepan, melt butter. Add flour, using a whisk to stir until well blended and thick. Pour milk in gradually, stirring constantly.
Bring to boiling point then add Hint of Spicy Paprika Blend. Add cheese little by little and simmer an additional 5 minutes, or until all the cheese is melted. Salt and pepper to taste
Turn off burner.
Pour cheese sauce over macaroni and mix until all the macaroni is covered.
Adjust spice, salt, pepper if needed.
Optional:
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Transfer macaroni to a buttered baking dish.
Sprinkle with 1 cup breadcrumbs, mixed with parmesan cheese.
Bake 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown
