Honey Chicken Kebabs
What you need:
Marinade: 1/4 cup olive oil 1/3 cup honey 1/3 cup soy sauce 2-3 cloves garlic Skewer: 4 skinless, boneless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces 1 onion cut into 2-inch pieces 1-2 zucchini, sliced into 1-inch pieces cherry tomatoes 1-2 tsp Hint of Spicy Paprika Blend salt skewers |
Method:
Marinade:
In a large bowl, whisk together oil, honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. cut chicken into 1-inch pieces and add to marinade. Mix to fully cover the chicken. Marinate for at least few hours before cooking, 5-6 hours is a good amount of time.
Heat the grill to a high heat. If using wood skewers, place them in water to soak before using. This prevents the skewer from immediately catching on fire.
Meanwhile, thread the chicken and veggies onto the skewers. Alternate in whatever order you like. Sprinkle a little Hint of Spicy Paprika Blend and a little salt over each skewer.
Lightly oil the grill before placing the skewers on the grill. Cook for about 12-15 minutes or until chicken is done, turning skewer about half way.
Method for camping: Make the marinade at home ahead of time, and keep in a closed container. If this the meal for nights one, you can also place the chicken in the marinade ahead of time. if not the meal for night one, it is better to add the chicken to marinade the morning of.
