Garlic Bread
Keep a close eye on the bread once its in the oven, as the butter will burn if cooked too long.
What you need: 1 loaf Italian or French bread 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened 2-4 cloves garlic, minced 1-2 Tbsp Homestyle Ranch Mix 1-2 Tbsp freshly chopped parsley (optional) |
Method:
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Cut the loaf in half, horizontally.
In a bowl, mix butter, garlic, Homestyle Ranch Mix, and parsley.
Spread butter mixture over bread halves.
Place on baking sheet with edges in case the butter drips.
Bake until the edges begin to brown, and the butter has melted into bread, 10-20 minutes.
Remove from oven, let cool a minute.
Remove from pan and use a sharp knife to cut into 1-inch thick slices.
Serve warm.
